A former Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof Awuzie and a PDP chieftain, Hon Peter Okorie have decamped to the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.
Okorie was one time House of Assembly Aspirant in Orlu on the platform of the PDP.
The decampees joined the party at its sensitization rally held in Orlu LGA.
APGA has continued to wax strong in Imo State lately with several politicians from various political parties joining the party.
Among new entrants into the party include Barr.Humphrey Anumudu, former Imo PDP State chairman, Dr. Alex Obi, a former commissioner in the State, Charlie Onyeagbako, former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha and many others.
The party had embarked on sensitization rally in the 27 local governments of the State aimed wooing Imolites for support for the forthcoming general elections.
