Imo APGA Members Go Spiritual, As Senator Nwanne Joins Guber Race

Members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in Imo State have gone spiritual through prayers to ensure victory for the party in the forthcoming elections in the State in 2019.

This was disclosed by the party’s deputy chairman, Augustus Nwosu at the APGA secretariat Owerri when Senator Bright Nwanne declared his intention to contest for Imo governorship.

He said APGA has gone into deep spiritual supplications to God to stop Governor Rochas Okorocha from installing anyone as his successor.

In his declaration speech, Senator Nwanne said he can be tested and trusted and has what it takes to rescue the State from the present leadership.

“You people know that I am a real leader, tested,trusted and God fearing with every political capacity to rule and deliver Imolites” he said

Senator Nwanne said he joined to APGA to create a positive impact in Imo State as the next Governor who has experience to rule.

He promised to offer quality leadership to Imolites by providing an enabling environment for the economy of the State to grow.

He also promised basic amenities such as effective pipe borne water, regular power supply through gas turbine from the oil region of the state, huge investment into mechanised agriculture to ensure food security and job creation for the teeming unemployed.

He said his government shall never steal public fund for his own selfish interest. He appealed to the party leadership to ensure that a credible, free and fair primaries are conducted.

In his remarks, the APGA Chairman in Imo State, Barr. Peter Ezeobi expressed delight on the calibre of politicians from Imo State who have joined the party for victory.

He promised free, fair and credible party primaries in the State.
