Some political gains came the way of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State when the member representing Oguta State constituency, Hon. Emma Orie decamped to the APC from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Orie decamped on the floor of the House during plenary. He said he decided to join the APC because of the internal wrangling in the PDP in the State. He called on PDP members in the House to join him and head to the APC.
Reacting to the defection, the Imo PDP State Publicity Secretary, Damian Opara said the party would declare his seat vacant because there is no crisis in the party in Imo Stat
