A Task force to tackle illicit drugs consumption and peddling in Imo State has been constituted.
Governor Rochas Okorocha had last week announced plans by his administration to checkmate the menace of illicit drugs in the state especially among the youths.
The task force is headed by a commandant, Hon (Mrs) Ijeoma Igboanusi.
Reports said the task force were inaugurated on Sunday at Government House victory chapel
The Task force members pledged their support to take the campaign against illicit drugs to the grassroot by arresting and prosecuting offenders with the aid of relevant authorities.
