The Imo State government has revealed that the state has the highest number of JAMB candidates with 92,890 applicants .
This was disclosed by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, according to a statement by Sam Onwuemedo, Chief Press Secretary to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
According to a statement by Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemedo, he said Oyo and Osun States came second and third with 86,695 and 86,044 registered candidates respectively.
The statement stated“The JAMB Registrar Prof. Oloyede made the disclosure at a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, March 7, 2018”
“With this current development, Imo State has topped in JAMB Applications for seven years now beginning from 2012.
He attributed the feat to the free and qualitative education programmee of the Rochas Okorocha administration.
