*Ihedioha: I Will Not Disappoint Imolites
In what appears an open endorsement for the governorship ambition of former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, member representing Owerri Federal Constituency, Hon. Ezenwa Onyewuchi has announced his supprt for Ihedioha ahead of the 2019 governorship election.
Hon. Onyewuchi announced his open endorsement during the inauguration of Owerri West LGA Chapter of ‘Team Ihedioha’ a support group” held at the Baptist School, Obinze.
Hear him, “We shall queue behind Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha towards actualizing his governorship project because he is a man I can attest to his track record, sagacity, experience and capacity without stammering. Let s tell ourselves the truth; Ihedioha remains the best we have for this assignment because he has a genuine desire to fix the state. If he can’t do it, I would have told also told you because my job is to tell you the truth at all times.”
Hon. Onyewuchi, who is also the House Committee Chairman on Employment, Labour and Productivity, maintained that, “Ihedioha is ready, financially and otherwise to confront any opposition and lead us back to Douglas House come 2019. He has paid his dues. He fought for the party with his life when it mattered and has helped us in no small measure despite all the blackmails and attacks on him. We must therefore be careful and alert to the activities of name droppers, saboteurs and jobbers whose only aim is to divide our party to make way for our enemies to win.”
He continued “Lastly, let me assure the people of Owerri that Ihedioha will not pretend about the rape of land and communities. I can tell you here that he will recover all our stolen lands and assets but you must ensure but you must ensure you have your voters’ card because it is the only weapon for the battle.
In his reaction, Ihedioha who was the PDP Governorship Candidate for 2015 general elections thanked the members of “Team Ihedioha”, PDP leaders and other stakeholders who trooped out in their numbers to receive him and assured them of his readiness to turn the state around for the better when he becomes governor.
“I am very humbled by the mammoth crowd of supporters that came here to receive me. I can assure you that we shall not fail the state nor take this solidarity for granted when we take over the reins of government.
He was accompanied to the inauguration by his associates and key stakeholders and leaders of PDP in Imo State.
