Imo APGA Governorship Aspirants Parley Party Leadership On 2019 Guber

Some governorship aspirants of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA met with the leadership of the party in Imo State at the State party headquarters, along Egbu road, Owerri

No reason was given for the meeting  but it was gathered that the aspirants were intimated on the need to eschew political tolerance and work as one family irrespective of who amongst them picks the governorship ticket. The high number of governorship aspirants in the party has continued to generate worries and fear as political analysts fear an implosion in the party depending on the outcome of the guber primaries.

As at yesterday, the party had 15 governorship aspirants.

However, available reports to this online newspaper indicated that some of the governorship aspirants who attended the meeting  include Chief Okey Eze, Barr. Charles Onyeagbako. Mr. Frank Nneji, Barr. Humphrey Anumudu, Barr. Phillip Ibekwe, Barr Stephen Nwoga, Hon. Ike C. Ibe and a  senatorial aspirant for Owerri zone, Sir Ben Osuji (senate). Other aspirants who could not attend were said to be out of the country.

Details of the meeting were unknown as at press time but one of the governorship aspirants, Stephen Nwoga was quoted to have said that APGA have the best of aspirants in Imo State for the 2019 election.

“I am very happy that all of us are credible. We shall work together to support whoever that picks our ticket to make sure APGA wins back Imo State” he said
