For Mrs Augustine Opara Mbaonu of Egbu community in Owerri North Local Government in Imo State, it has been a horrendous ordeal for her as she lamented how her kinsmen who at the mere sight of her wield cutlass to chase her and siblings out of her compound.

In what appears to an age long bickering that seem to have defied resolution, Mrs.Mbaonu decided to seek succor at the Imo State Ministry of Happiness and Couples Fulfillment where she sought reprieve.

According to her, what led to the latest attack on her was when she queried a keke rider who is also her kinsman for destroying her jerrycan of water without showing remorse for his action.

A fight ensued and she was overpowered. Her house was destroyed and some valuables were also damaged in the process in a rage of furry exhibited by the aggrieved kinsmen.  She also said that her brother, Dan was said to be unjustly detained by the Police.

It took the intervention of the Ministry of Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment where she narrated her ordeal to the Commissioner, Hon (Mrs) Ogechi Ololo.

According to reports from the Ministry, the Commissioner intervened in the matter and secured a peace pact that has led to restoration of peace in the family compound.
