20 members of the Imo State House of Assembly have once again reaffirmed their support for Chief of Staff, Government House Chief Uche Nwosu on his governorship ambition.
The 20 lawmakers at a location in Owerri gave the open endorsement before newsmen.
The open endorsement had come barely a week member representing Oguta State Constituency, Hon Henry Ezediaro announced that the Assemblymen had endorsed the governorship ambition of the governorship hopeful.
According to him those that endorsed the Chief of Staff at the meeting include: Ugonna Ozuruigbo representing (Nwangele), Lugard Osuji, former Majority leader (Owerri Municipal) Chukwuemeka Loyd (Owerri North) Ikenna Nzerue(Oru east) Innocent Egwim(Ideato North) Obinna Egu (Ngor Okpala) Ngozi Obiefula(Isu) and Uju Onwudiwe (Njaba).
Others are Victor Onyewuchi (Owerri west) Uche Agabiga(Orsu) Emma Orie(Ohaji/Egbema) Ikechukwu Amuka (Ideato south) Henry Ezediaro(Oguta) Lawman Duruji (Ehime Mbano) and Marcel Odunze (Orlu)
Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo on his facebook wall re confirmed the endorsement this afternoon.
He wrote “Today, I joined my colleagues at the Imo State House of Assembly to further reaffirm our endorsement of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as the next Governor of Imo State”
