As part of its commitment to ensure effective policing in the State, the Imo State Police Command has unveiled 15 refurbished vehicles to ensure protection of lives and property.
At the event,the Imo State Governor,Rochas Okorocha who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Chief Uche Nwos commended the Imo State Police Command for their seriousness in the fight against crime and other social vices in the State.
The Governor further assured his support to the command and advised the police to always dwell in partnership and synergy with the Rescue Mission led administration of the state.
In his response, the Imo State Commissioner of Police,Chris Ezike promised that the command will ensure that the state remain calm against the evil wishes of men of the under-world and hoodlums who do not want the progress of the state in particular and Nigerians in general.
The CP further stated that his command has introduced “operation push force” as part of its commitment to curb crime in the state.
