The Governor perhaps peeved over a recent photo that surfaced on the social media where his Deputy, Eze Madumere and his in law, Engr. Chuks Ololo posed for a snapshot with Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and Senator Benjamin Uwajumuogu went tough on Ololo who is widely believed to be pursuing his governorship ambition.

Chuks Ololo, a board member of Federal Institute of Research, Oshodi had floated a political structure called Omeneji which has been recruiting political foot-soldiers in a bid to drum support for his guber bid. He is the hubby of Okorocha’s sister, Ogechi who was appointed Commissioner of Happiness and Couples Fulfillment.

Ololo had lost out in Okorocha’s political chessboard when he went ahead to select Uche Nwosu, another in law of his and Chief of Staff as his successor.

Ogechi Ololo is Okorocha’s sister and she was appointed Commissioner For Happiness and Couples Fulfilment, an appointment which generated uproar because Ogechi never joined other commissioner nominees to undergo screening before the Imo State House of Assembly.

The meeting was held behind closed doors and lasted for several hours as sources hinted this newspaper that mock primaries were held for public office seekers in the Governor’s camp.  Most House of Assembly members were said to have scaled through the exercise and now sure of their second term tickets after receiving endorsements from party faithful present at the meeting.
