The Nigerian Police Force Imo State Command, Owerri on Saturday April 21th 2018,arrested a gang of armed robbery/kidnap suspects who invaded the apartment of one Iberi Vivian located at Christian Hospital.

The hoodlums allegedly robbed their victim of her ATM cards and eventually kidnapped her 17 months baby boy,Little Master Damian Chimdumebi Oluwa.
The Police said that the hoodlums started calling the victim for ransom before they would release the kidnapped little child for the ransom-sum of Six Hundred and Twenty Seven Thousand Naira(N627,000) which was later collected from the victim for the release of the child.
The incident was subsequently reported to the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit,while in the course of investigation, operatives of the Command Federal SARS acted on intelligence and constructive digital analysis to swoop on the hoodlums.
The police said that the operatives are after the other suspects.
Meanwhile, the Imo State Police Commissioner,Mr. Chris Okey Ezike has directed the investigating unit to stop at nothing in ensuring that the fleeing suspects are apprehended and brought to book.
