A Special Committee set up by the All Progressive Congress National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun has received its terms of reference.
The Committee was set up by the Party boss to review the position of the President on the extension of the tenure of the National Working Committee and part executives at all levels.
This newspaper was informed that the 10 man committee has been saddled with the responsibility to among other things:
*Examine the President’s position as contained in his statement as delivered at the NEC meeting of March 27th, 2018, vis-à-vis the resolution of NEC meeting of February 2018 .
*Assess all the information available and recommend a course of action consistent with the provisions of the Party’s constitution, the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and all relevant laws” among other terms of reference.
The Committee was inaugurated in Abuja by the National Chairman. More details later……
