A teacher was rewarded with the sum of one million naria for taking part in a march past with her co – workers during Workers Day celebration in Owerri.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha made the announcement of the cash donation to the pregnant woman to the astonishment of spectators and workers.
The cash was handed over to her by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Owerri, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.
The Governor provided the police escort to provide security to the woman.
