Imo Lawmakers Never Demanded For Harmonization At Abuja Talks- Source

More details have continued to emanate from the meeting between members of the Imo State House of Assembly of APC extraction and members of the National Working Committee of the All  Progressive Congress, APC NWC held in Abuja yesterday.

Reports had hit the social media on what transpired at the meeting with various versions of  the discussions that took place at the crucial meeting held at the national secretariat of the APC.

Contrary to such reports, a source revealed to this newspaper there was no time the Imo  Assembly men demanded for harmonisation of the ward Congresses between Governor Rochas Rescue Mission camp and the “Allied Forces”of the APC in the State.

A source at the meeting said the offer of harmonization rather came forth from the NWC as a basis to restore peace and normalcy in the party in the State and not from the Assembly men.

According to the source, the Imo Lawmakers demanded for outright cancellation of the ward Congresses which they stated never took place.

They were led on the visit by the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon School Ihim and the three members of the House of Representatives of Imo extraction.
