The All Progressive Congress, APC has affirmed that ward congresses actually took place in Imo State on May 5, 2018 contary to the protestations of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha that the ward congresses never held.
A letter seen by this newspaper and which circulated widely on the social media was signed by Abubakar Tature, Chairman Imo State Ward and Local Government Appeals Committee, Hajia Hassana Abdullah (Secretary), Mr.Ikenna Uzoka(Member). The Commitee affirmed that the ward congresses took place in the State.
