“There is nothing truthful about Okorocha’s assertion or claim .If the governor claims there was a court order, who was the document served and when did a notice of appearance become a restraining order.” Ekeh told newsmen in Owerri.

He said the State Congress was held successfully and a new leadership has emerged. He said after accreditation and voting was over, Mr. Hilary Eke, Hon. Ugochukwu Nzewke and others were re- elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Imo State chapter of the APC and duly returned by the Imo APC State Congress Electoral Committee and acknowledged by the Chief John Oyegun led APC National Working Committee as duly elected.

Governor Rochas Okorocha had said a Federal High Court had stopped the State Congress by restraining the party from going ahead in conducting the congress.
