*PRESS STATEMENT*
In fulfillment of his earlier promise to donate motorcycles to the 305 APGA ward Chairmen in the state, one of the strongest frontline APGA governorship aspirants in the state, Hon Uche Onyeagucha has formally handed over brand new Nasara motorcycles to the 305 ward chairmen of the party in the state starting from Okigwe zone.
This is contained in a statement by Mac Donald Enwere, Chief Press Secretary to the Former House of Reps member.
According to the statement, Enwere said it was indeed a moment of joy for all the ward chairmen of the party from Okigwe zone as Hon Onyeagucha handed over the motorcycles to them at his residence in Obinze Owerri West LGA.
The Statement reads “Donating the motorcycles through the state chairman, Barr Peter Ezeobi who was represented by the Owerri zonal chairman Chief Roland Jerry Okoro, Hon Onyeagucha charged the ward chairmen to use the motorcycles solely for the interest of the party and to ensure that they work to deliver APGA in the 2019 elections .
“He encouraged them to be dedicated and work relentlessly in ensuring that APGA takes over Douglas House in 2019. He promised to give 3million naira each to any ward that will deliver the party in the 2019 elections and also a brand new bus to any local government area that will also deliver the party in the next year’s elections.
“Hon Onyeagucha further charged the ward chairmen to mobilize their people to start a mid-day prayer session in the state asking God to remove Rochas and his cohorts who have held the state for ransom. He reiterated that APGA is the only party that will take the state to an enviable height.
“In his response, the state chairman of the party, Barr Peter Ezeobi who was represented by Owerri zonal chairman Chief Rolands Okoro commended Hon Onyeagucha for the several contributions and donations he has made to the party saying that he really has the interest of the party at heart. He later applauded his steadfastness and prayed God to always bless him. He concluded by saying that Hon Onyeagucha has really shown that he is the OPara APGA .
“It can be recalled that Hon Onyeagucha had earlier donated 27 Sienna and Infinity jeeps to the LGA secretaries of the party and also a vehicle each to the state Youth wing and Women wing of the party.
In his remarks, the state secretary of the party, Pastor Eberendu on behalf of the ward chairmen thanked Hon Onyeagucha for the donation and prayed God to always bless and protect him.
