Members of the Imo State House of Assembly have rejected the ongoing Local Government congresses of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the State.
Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Acho Ihim flanked by lawmakers of APC extraction in the House at a press conference in Owerri called on the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun and the National Working Committee, NWC not to proceed with the local government congresses taking place today across the State.
The lawmakers also kicked against the ward congresses calling for its cancellation.
He applauded the Nigerian Police for arresting those suspected to have made away with the material for the ward congresses.
