This was disclosed by music maestro King Saro Wiwa who recently paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty Eze Reginald Amadi, Obo 1 of Obetiti Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

Addressing journalists after the visit, the group spokesperson, Jonel Cross Nnawuchi, said they came to interact with their Grand patron, HRH Eze R. A Amadi and to inform him about the forth coming World Music Day and their preparation for PMAN’s election coming up soon.

According to him, the Association is taking  necessary steps to give everyone a level playing ground to ensure a free and fair election anchored on PMAN constitution.

He observed that they are consulting widely and reaching out to stakeholders in order not to make mistake and incur the wrath of many who have been supporting PMAN. He said Imo PMAN will stop at nothing to ensure that the music industry is promoted to enviable heights.

“Imo PMAN needs the best as their State leader and that is why we are calling on those vying for positions to indicate and do the needful by following due process” he said.

In his response, the grand patron, HRH Eze R. A. Amadi thanked  PMAN for finding time to visit him and he reassured them of his support, blessing and encouragement provided they work in harmony and in line with the constitution of PMAN.

He adviced them to reach-out to other stakeholders and ensure they love one another. He equally advised them not to allow rancor and acrimony to set into the association because it will be tantamount to destruction of PMAN.

The occasion was attended by many frontline musicians of Imo extraction including the past State Governor of PMAN, Chief KpakaraKpa.
