Governor Rochas Okorocha took one more step to actualize the governorship ambition of his son in law and Chief Of Staff, Uche Nwosu when he single-handedly constituted a State Executive For the All Progressive Congress in Imo State.
The move is coming after the “Allied Forces ” conquered the Imo Governor grabbing the party structure from the ward, Local Government and State levels.
Also, the set up of the parallel State Exco justifies suspicions that the Imo Governor may have totally lost out in re- possessing the soul of Imo APC. During the Congresses of the APC in the State, the Governor had approached President Buhari for intervention and the party national leadership seeking for remedy all to no avail.
Yesterday at the APC State Secretariat located along Okigwe road, he constituted a parallel State Executive headed by Chris Oguoma.
The move is aimed at rejuvenating Nwosu’s ambition which suffered a set back after the Congresses. The legitimacy of the parallel State Executive is yet to be ascertained as the national leadership of the party seem to be according such legitimacy to the Hillary Eke led State Exco propelled by the Allied Forces in Imo APC.
