“The reason why we are here is that our collective security has been threatened. The reason why we are here is because we want to take our destiny in our hands. The reason why we are here is because we have all decided to say no to bad elements.

“Before Tuesday last week, which was the 6th day of June, 2018, we had enjoyed peace for almost one year. The year 2017 in my assessment was a peaceful year because we won in the war against all forms of social vices”, he said.

“But as we speak, we have lost three persons. It is not a joking matter. On Tuesday 5th of June around 11 O’Clock, I was called on phone that somebody was shot at Ezzangbo and that the person did not survive it.

“While the tears was on my eyes, the following day, one Paul Ogeh was killed who is also a members of my support group. I now said that something was wrong somewhere. This crisis is not natural, some people instigated it.

“So we kept the peace for over seven days . And why we were focusing on this side, yesterday we got another had news. That another person was killed at Umuogodoakpu. That one is the most worrisome. There are many theories. Some people said it is connected to phone , some said it is something concerning garri. And before you know it somebody was macheted to death.
