A former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon  Emeka Ihedioha has said he is in the governorship race of Imo State to salvage Imolites from their sufferings just as he explained that the State is in dire need of a “Liberator In Chief”

Speaking at Ngor Okpala Local Government Area in continuation of his ward to ward consultations, the PDP governorship aspirant pledged his commitment to the Imo project as he is not in the race just the fly the flag of his political party- the PDP.

He said Imo people have suffered in the last seven years to the point their voices are no longer heard.

“ What Imo need at the moment is a liberator in Chief who can liberate them within the shortest possible time” he said.

He reminded the people of Ngor Okpala LGA of projects he attracted to them when he was in the House odf Representatives among which include facilitating a power station, renovation of schools, quality road networks, solar street lights, ICT centres.

He assured them that when he takes over power on May 29th 2019 Ngor Okpala LGA will be key and central to the development of Imo State.
