A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State, Chief Gibson Njemanze (Oyiga) has said only Senator Ifeanyi Araraume as governor of Imo State in 2019 will lead to unprecedented liberation of the people of Imo State from the clutches of bad governance in the last seven years.
Oyiga who is a top notch of the “Allied Forces” in Imo APC said Araraume has come a long way in his quest to govern the State, recalling that this is the fourth time he is aspiring for the number one job of the State. He expressed hope that Araraume like President Buhari who won the Presidency at his fourth attempt will succeed in his latest quest to govern Imo State.
The former Mayor of Owerri stated that despite the agitation by Owerri zone to produce the next governor of the State in 2019 is being hampered by several factors which include lack of organization and inability to reach out to galvanize support.
He said Owerri zone has not exhibited such traits and character at the moment
He spoke on his ambition to represent Owerri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2019, recalling that this is his third consecutive attempt for the Reps seat. He added that having gone thus far, he is determined this time to succeed and he posses what it takes to give Owerri Federal constituency effective and genuine representation.
