Senator Benjamin Uwajumuogu, Secretary APC National Convention Committee has explained why he quit as Secretary of the Committee.
In a statement signed by Principal Secretary to the Senator, Godson Amadikwa, the Senator said his decision to resign was based on personal reasons tailored towards blighting frayed nerves and to advance the progress of the APC in Imo State.
He thanked the National Chairman of the APC and the National Working Committee for the uncommon privilege given to him to serve within the period of time and thanked all those who stood by him in the test of leadership.

The Distinguished Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu has resigned his appointment as the Secretary, 2018 APC National Convention Committee.
The decision of his resignation was duly taken for personal reasons, tailored towards blighting fraying nerves and to advance the progress of APC in Imo State.
The Distinguished Senator thanked the National Chairman of APC and the NWC for the uncommon privilege given to him to serve within this period; as well thank all who stood by him in this test of leadership.
The Distinguished Senator however, wishes the National Convention Committee and the entire party successful conclusion of the National Convention.
The National Chairman HE Chief John Oyegun, has accepted his resignation this evening and wished him well in his legislative duties.
