Those suspended are believed to be loyalists of the Imo State Deputy Governor. They are  Uche Oguwuike who represents Ikeduru State Constituency, Nkenna Nzeruo (Oru East), Collins Chiji (Isiala Mbano) and Ifeanyi Nnatoronye (Mbaitoli) who represents the local government of the Deputy Governor.

It is the first sitting of the House after the national convention of the APC held in Abuja where Okorocha outplayed the Coalition which Madumere is a top member by successfully ensuring the emergence of Barr Emma Ibediro as National Organizing Secretary of the party.

One of the suspended lawmakers who spoke on condition of anonymity said the suspension was aimed “at getting to the deputy governor”

According to a post on facebook by Mr. Iheanyi Enwerem, a known social media aide of the Deputy Governor, he said the “Okorocha must be joking if he thinks Madumere is shivering over impeachment threat”

“Like I always say, the Deputy Governor Imo State,Prince Eze Madumere, will be the last man on earth to be afraid of Gov. Rochas Okorocha, based on the fact that he has known him for years, and knows every political move Okorocha makes, there is nothing hidden under Okorocha’s mind and heart that Madumere doesn’t know” he wrote.
