A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress and a staunch member of Coalition or Allied Forces in Imo APC, Jasper Azuatalam has explained why some politicians came together to form the “Allied Forces” in Imo APC.

Azuatalam is a member of the Board Of Trustees of the governing All Progressive Congress, APC. He said the need to restore justice, equity and rule of law, in addition to the anti peoples policy of the Okorocha administration in Imo State were cumulative factors that led to the formation of the group.

Azuatalam who spoke to newsmen in Owerri said some of the policies of the present government in Imo State have been hurtful such as the demolition of markets, grabbing of lands indiscriminately, non payment of pensioner’s pensions and anomalies of the present government. He said the Coalition/ Stakeholders is trying to separate Governor Okorocha’s style of leadership from the mandate of the party.

On the party congress in Imo State, he said it was successful and concluded, revealing that the National Working Committee of the APC have adopted the results from the congress as the winners will be sworn in on June 4, 2018 in Abuja.

According to him, most members of the coalition are appointees of President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the Coalition as true Imo APC members who have collective interest of Imo people are heart.
