Senator Ifeanyi Araraume’s governorship ambition is on course with indications very clear that he is all geared up to plunge into the contest with all vigour.
In what appears his first strategic meeting after the national convention of the All Progressive Congress, APC held in Abuja, sources at the meeting revealed that the Senator doled out financial support to the visiting State Executive of the party led by Chief Hilary Eke.
He assured them of his support to the party and thanked the party officers for their brevity in the face of challenges rocking the party.
The State Executives had been plagued by lack of office accommodation since the Rochas Okorocha backed APC took over the State party Secretariat located IMSU junction, Owerri- Okigwe Road.
The State Chairman, Hilary Eke was quoted to have described Araraume as a visionary leader who understands what it takes to manage and run a political party. He promised that his leadership will continue to fight impunity and imposition of candidates.
Also present at the meeting was senator representing Imo North in the Senate, Senator Benjamin Uwajumuogu who asserted that the congresses held in the State and inauguration of those elected from the exercise will soon take place. He also encouraged them to embark on grassroot mobilization for the party.
