One of the best ways to protect your skin against the sun’s harmful UV rays and UVB which can lead to skin cancer, sunburn, ageing fast etc is to wear an effective sun cream regularly.
For the best sunscreen to use, the Annual Sunscreen Guide by the Consumer Report has ranked products to find the most effective in the world.
They carried out its sunscreen product reviews by testing more than 70 sunscreen lotions, sprays, sticks, and lip balms, revealing that “you can’t always rely on the sun protection factor (SPF). That number is a measure of protection from ultraviolet B radiation, which is the chief cause of sunburn and a contributor to skin cancer.
“We also tested for protection against ultraviolet A rays, which tan and age skin, and also trigger skin cancer. We found more than a dozen sunscreens that did well enough against both UVA and UVB to recommend.”
And the winner is La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios SPF 50 Comfort Cream, which has gained a 100% score, for years in a row.
It contains the antioxidant called Baicalin, to help anti-ageing, and gives the highest UVA and UVB sun protection.
