Board Member of Federal Institute Of Research, Oshodi, FIRO, Mr. Chuks Ololo has again echoed his determination to forge ahead with his governorship ambition in Imo State.
Reports had surfaced on the social media in the past that he has been asked to step aside from the contest.
Ololo, an in law to Governor Rochas Okorocha and hubby of Imo State Commissioner of Happiness and Couples Fulfillment, Ogechi, said he has been chosen to serve the people of Imo State.
Speaking to some journalists at his campaign Office in Owerri, Ololo said his ambition is also divine and anchored on God’s direction to salvage the people of the State.
He said he is in the race for the people of Imo State and not necessarily for the sake of Owerri zone people alone.
Ololo said he is a humble fellow, a gentle man, very discerning, accommodating and a Christian with the fear of God who has come to salvage the State.
Speaking on his Omeneji campaign team, he said the name emanated from a traditional title he was given five years ago as “Omenenji “1 of Owerri zone.
He said his resolve to join the contest is because his aspiration is divine.
Ololo said his aspiration is for the people of Imo State and not based on his in law-ship to Governor Rochas Okorocha but all about perfecting the direction of God.
On the increasing number of governorship aspirants from Owerri zone, he said it is the strength of the APC, describing them as qualified to aspire for any public office.
He drummed support for the All Progressive Congress, APC in the State.
