The impeachment process against Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere may be on course as the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Paschal Nnadi has constituted a 7 man panel of inquiry to investigate allegations of gross misconduct leveled against the number two citizen of the State by the Imo State House of Assembly.
The 7 man panel of inquiry are:

*. Charles Okoro
*. Barth N. Opara
*. Mr Chika Anosike
*. Mr Nwokona Chidozie
*. Mrs Olivia Nwanekezi
*. Amadi Chidinma.
13 members of the Imo State House of Assembly had petitioned the Imo Speaker on gross misconduct against the Deputy Governor.
The Speaker, Rt Hon. Acho Ihim constituted an Ad Hoc Committee led by Hon Kennedy Ibe, member Representing Obowo State Constituency to look into the allegations.
After considering the report, the Speaker directed the State Chief Judge of the State to set up an 7 man panel of inquiry to be made up of persons of unquestionable character.
Madumere proceeded to a Federal High Court, Abuja where he sought and obtained a court order halting the impeachment process.
