Top chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State marched on the streets of Owerri, Imo State capital to protest assault on Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
Among those who went on the protest march include State Chairman of the party, Charles Ezekwem and members of his executives. Also sighted during the protest include former senator representing Owerri zone, Senator Chris Anyanwu.
The party officers said the protest march is to show solidarity for Governor Fayose ahead of the governorship election in Ekiti State. They went to the Imo State Police Command where they submitted a letter of protest to the State Commissioner of Police
