The Supreme Court, Friday morning declared Chief Victor Oye as the authentic national chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA. Details of the ruling is awaited as at press time.
In a congratulatory message, a governorship aspirant, Hon Uche Onyeagocha applauded the apex court for the landmark judgement.
He described the judgment as a landmark victory for democracy and also a confirmation of the leadership ingenuity of the National Chairman, Dr. Victor Oye.
“We however, commend wholeheartedly the the leadership aplomb of our National Chairman and his doggedness during these critical moments most especially for not allowing the distractions of the court case to deter him from piloting the affairs of our party. We also heartily commend members of the National Working Committee of our party for their supportive and contributory roles in ensuring the victory of our party at the apex court.
“At the same time, we applaud in a very special way our amiable state chairman, Barr Peter Ezeobi for his complementary role and all the party faithful for their prayers and support” he declared.
