Belgium made a huge leap into the semi final at the ongoing World Cup in Russia beating led World Cup favourites Brazil 2-1 at full-time in their quarter-final game on Friday.

The match played in Kazan was a real World Cup classic as a Fernandinho own goal in the 16th minute and a beauty of a goal from Kevin De Bruyne  put Belgium in the lead

Brazil, Five time World Champions in a bid to erase the pain of a 7-1 defeat against Germany in the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup on home soil put up a frenetic display to come back into the game.

Substitute Renato Augusto made it 2-1 for the Brazilians as all efforts to get an equalizer was futile until the refereee’s final whistle.
