SDP Talks Tough On 2019, Vow To Form Next Government In Imo

The Social Democratic Party, SDP has vowed to form the next Government in Imo State vowing to expel the APC led government through electoral defeat in 2019.

Chilos Godsent, Publicity Secretary of Imo SDP in a statement in Owerri condemned in strong terms the present economic hardship in the State after discovering that the sixty percent of the average resident in Imo State no lives below three hundred naria per day.

The SDP promised to restore sanity in governance and reinstate economic fortunes of the State where Imo State will be the economic hub of South East Nigeria if elected to power in 2019.

“Consequent upon the above, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Imo State has constituted high powered Door-to-Door Campaign and Recruitment Team in all the three hundred and five electoral wards in Imo State with the target to recruit over two million members with electoral values before the end of December 2018.

“In view of the above, we call on the people of Imo State to massively join the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as the only option to Liberate the state from the shackles of sadistic cabals that has held the state in economic and political captivity since 1999” the statement concluded
