A governorship aspirant on the platform of Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) in Imo State, Hon Stephen Chiadikaobi Emeghara has demonstrated his commitment at ensuring that the party captures Government House, Owerri in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election.
The governorship hopeful said that his main focus to run for governorship of the State rather than castigate or condemn any leader in the name of election. He also said politics is not about how far but how well.
The technocrat said his administration will pay more attention to agriculture,youth empowerment,job creation and providing good sustainable roads.
He said if elected Governor of the State, he will ensure orderliness, transparency, accountability and rule of law in his administration.
Hon Emeghara said his decision to run for governorship of the State is also to salvage the people from untold hardship and sufferings the people of the state are undergoing.
He vowed to exceed the achievements of former Governor Sam Mbakwe and Governor Rochas Okorocha whom he said during their tenure,they proved themselves in governance, assuring that he will to do better than them and promising to carry everybody along.
Emeghara said GPN believe in harmony and good governance, adding that youth should come out and aspire for leadership positions.
He urged leaders and the people of Imo State to embrace peace, urging old politicians to allow the youth to take over power and put their trust in God.
