No Court Order Stopping Imo LGA Polls- ISIEC

There is no court order stopping August 25th, 2018 local government election in Imo State.

This was disclosed by Chairman of Imo State Independent Electoral Commission, Barr Ethelbert Ibebuchi who spoke to newsmen in Owerri on preparations for the polls to be held on August 25th, 2018.

He said the commission is ready to conduct a free, fair and credible election in the State.

He maintained that there is no court order stopping the election.

” We call on Imolites to come out enmasse to cast their votes as elections will take place in the 27 local governments and 654 ISIEC wards in the State” he said.
