Embattled Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, on Sunday in Owerri fired salvos at his political adversaries warning that he will not relent in pursuing his governorship ambition.
Madumere has been in the eye of the storm recently following his impeachment by members of the Imo State House of Assembly last week.
A Court Order had halted the swearing in of Mr. Callistus Ekenze as the new Deputy Governor.
Madumere fell out with his boss of over 20 years, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha when the latter preferred his son in law and Chief of Staff, Uche Nwosu to take over from him in 2019.
He pitched his tenth with the Imo APC Allied Forces, a group of politicians opposed to Okorocha.
Madumere said his trials, ordeal and tribulation in the hands were because he stood for justice and equity.
He promised to remain consistent, steadfast, thanking the people of Imo State for their support. He assured that he will never fail them as he is poised to stand for the truth at all times.
