A faction Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC has unviled its chairmanship candidates that will fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming Local Government election scheduled to hold on August 25, 2018.
The candidates were unveiled by the Dan Nwafor led State Working Committee. The unveiling of the chairmanship candidates has put to an end to internal wrangling that rocked the party after the past State exco led by Chris Oguoma conducted primaries for Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants.
According to a statement by the party’s publicity secretary, FCC Jones Onwusoanya, he said the State Working Committee ratified the nomination in line with Article 13,section 8, subsection Vii of the 2014 Constitution of the APC as ammended.
