The State Working Committee of a faction of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State has constituted a five member Election Campaign Council for the forthcoming Local Government Election.
The APC has been polarized into two factions all laying claim to be the authentic leadership of the party in the State.
The Okorocha faction is led by Dan Nwafor who emerged State Chairman after congress and was recently inaugurated by the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomole in Abuja.
According to Imo State Commissioner of Information, Prof Nnamdi Obiareri, five party members were appointed by the party to aid the party co- ordinate campaigns and record 100% victory in the Local Government election.
The committee is led by former party Chairman, Chris Oguoma.
