Why Abuja Tremor Occured- FERMA

The earth tremor that occurred in some parts of Abuja on Thursday and Friday morning has been attributed to “sudden breaks along fault line, resulting in sudden release of energy that makes the ground shake”

The agency also issued safety tips for the public to follow in the event of continued occurrence of tremor.
