The list of Delegates that will take part in the primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State will not surface till next Monday, September 24.
A top level source in the party revealed to this newspaper last night.
There has been squabbles over the 3 man Delegates election which in some areas was marred in controversy.
A party member, Mr.Lancelot Obiaku in an open letter to the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, had alleged that the exercise did not conform to standards and portend far reaching dangers for the party.
The camps of two governorship aspirants namely a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Senator Representing Owerri Zone, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, had made claims of having their loyalists as delegates.
The duo are in a fierce scramble for the party’s governorship ticket.
