Osibanjo To Visit Imo For Two Days

Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo is expected in Imo State on Saturday, September 22, 2018 on a two day working visit.

According to a statement by Sam Onwuemedo, Chief Press Secretary to the Imo State Governor, the Vice President will arrive by 10am and move to the Eze Imo Palace on courtesy call, where he would also have town Hall meeting with traditional rulers and other stakeholders.

The statement reads “The Vice – President would also commission some projects while on the august visit, including the Nigeria Airforce Hospital, City Primary School located at the former Fire Service Station, the New Nigeria Union of Journalists ultra-modern secretariat, the Nigeria Labour Congress House, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Headquarters, and the Imo International Exhibition Centre, among others and all built by the Rescue Mission Government in the State.

“Prof. Osinbajo would equally attend the governor’s Birthday celebration organized by Rochas Foundation and the Vice – President will be attending the event as the Special Guest of Honour. He would also deliver a lecture.

“On Sunday September 23, 2018, the Vice – President will attend Church Service at the Government House Victory Chapel and he will also deliver the sermon. Other Church Leaders will be in attendance, while there will be prayers for the peace of the nation” the statement stated.
