The list of delegates from the state chapter of the  party to the national convention came up last week.

The race for Imo PDP Governorship ticket is clearly a two horse race between Ihedioha and Senator Anyanwu. Whoever emerges as the governorship candidate flies the party’s flag in the 2019 governorship election in the State.

With their successful screening and clearance, analysts say the battle now moves to lobbying the delegates who hold the ace and are the determinant factors on who carries the day.

The outcome of the primaries will be an interesting development as fears have been expressed if the party can successfully do away with internal bickering that had affected it’s chances at the polls in the past.
