Imo PDP Changes Venue Of Guber Primary

The Peoples Democratic Party, Imo State will hold its governorship primary at the Kanu Nwankwo sports complex, Owerri.

The national leadership of the party had o nStaurday announced a postponement of the primary alongside Kano and Lagos States.

It was however gathered that the Primary will now hold on Monday, October 1, 2018.

The exercise was earlier scheduled to take place at State government owned Dan Anyiam stadium. No reason was given for the sudden change of venue.

Five governorship aspirants are participating in the Primary election.

They are Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Prof Jude Ejiogu, Senator Athan Achonu and Chukwuma Ekomaru (SAN)
