Minimum Wage: Labour Suspends Strike

The ongoing strike in the country has been suspended by the organized labour with effect from Sunday, September, 30, 2018.
President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba announced the suspension of the strike in Abuja.

The Labour Leader said the reason for suspending the strike arose after organized Labour extracted a firm commitment from the government that the Tripartite Committee of the Minimum Wage Committee would reconvene on October 4.

Labour had issued a 14 day ultimatum to the Federal Government expires on September 26, urging Nigerians to get prepared.
