Two AC Milan star players, Alession Romagnoli and Mattia Caldara are fresh targets for Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri.

The move by the Coach is aimed at boosting his defensive options.

Romagnoli, a left footed centre back has played twice for AC Milan in Seria A this season and led the team to defeat against Napoli and win over Roma.

According to Calcio Mercato, Sarri wants to sign the duo during January transfer window.

The report also claimed that the 59-year-old has placed Romagnoli and Caldara as his top two targets for next year.

Sarri, who has impressed at the West London club since joining from Napoli, has won all four of his Premier League matches.

The Blues currently sit on second position on the Premier League log and will face Cardiff City at home this weekend.
