It has been a theatre of political drama in Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC as political gladiators continue to take measures in order to be relevant in the next political dispensation in 2019.
Reports reaching this newspaper reveal that Governor Rochas Okorocha has formally declared his intention to run for Orlu (Imo West) Senatorial district.
Okorocha had few months ago announced his intention to go to the Senate after leaving office and his Chief of Staff and son in law, Uche Nwosu for the governorship.
Senator Hope Uzodinma, Senator representing Orlu zone has also made real his governorship ambition on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
A video seen online showed a close associate of the Senator, Barr. C.O.C Akaokisa hand over the APC governorship form to the Senator.
Uzodinma had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
He had announced that there will be harmonization in Imo APC to accommodate the interests of stakeholders in the party.
