Voting Ongoing At Imo PDP Guber Primaries

Voting is still ongoing at the Kanu Nwankwo sports stadium, Owerri venue of the governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Before voting commenced, accreditation was conducted on the delegates.

As at the time of filing this report,  delegates from the 12 local governments of Orlu zone had concluded voting. Delegates from Owerri and Okigwe zones will also vote.

As usual, it is expected that voting will continue to the wee hours of tommorow morning and results promptly announced.

There has been no report of complains as our reporters on ground report that the exercise is going on smoothly.

Five governorship aspirants are taking part in the primary election where a governorship candidate is expected to be elected.

Among the contestants include Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Senator Athan Achonu, Prof Jude Njoku and Chukwuma Ekomaru(SAN).
