Imo APGA Guber Ticket: Court Adjourns Nov 13

*Araraume Remains Imo APGA Guber Candidate*

The turbulence that has engulfed the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Imo State over its governorship primary has hit the law courts with Owerri Federal High Court hearing a matter on the Guber primary brought before it by 12 governorship aspirants.

The aspirants sought two reliefs- to compel the State Working Commitee of APGA not to submit the name of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume as governorship candidate of the party to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC  and declare their consensus candidate, Ike Ibe as the governorship flagbearer.

This is as feelers emerged that the NWC may have submitted Araraume’s name as governorship candidate of the party for Imo State even before the angry aspirants approached the Courts for redress.

Former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim who is leading the aggrieved Guber aspirants while briefing  newsmen after the court session said they are in Court to seek for justice.
